Designs For The Cure Streams Live on Stickam.com

Designs For The Cure is an elegant "pink tie" gala that brings together the worlds of fashion, celebrities and cancer survivors at the Millennium Biltmore to raise funds for breast cancer screening, education, treatment and research in Los Angeles County. Confirmed guests include Carmen Electra, Ali Landry, Gretchen Rossi from "Real Housewives of Orange County," Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, Kelly Monaco of "Dancing with the Stars" and "General Hospital," Pauley Paurrette of "NCIS" and more. Conrad will be on hand to dress survivors in her contemporary line, Paper Crown, for an exciting display of fashion and beauty.

2nd annual Susan G. Komen Los Angeles Gala

The gala brings together the world of fashion, celebrities and cancer survivors at the Millennium Biltmore on Saturday, Oct. 13 to raise funds for breast cancer screening, education, treatment and research in Los Angeles County.
This elegant, "pink-tie" evening will raise funds to impact women who are battling breast cancer in Los Angeles County as well as providing funding for research, mammograms and other diagnostic and treatment services. The gala will feature a celeb-studded pink carpet, special appearances with live entertainment, a cocktail reception, dinner, and a fabulous silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind items and experiences. Conrad will be on hand to dress survivors in her contemporary line, Paper Crown, for an exciting display of fashion and beauty.
"After corresponding with the survivors during the initial stages of the dress fittings, I am even more honored to host this event," said Conrad. "These ladies all exhibit such strength and hearing their stories and the stories of women like them inspires me. I am thrilled to partner with an organization like Susan G. Komen that is actively working to end this disease, and am so pleased to be able to help spread awareness about breast cancer in any way that I can."
Tickets are $250 or $2,500 for a 10-person table, which includes full dinner, cocktail reception and access to all event activities and a swag bag, valued at close to $400. Special thanks to the 2012 Gala event cash sponsors: American Book Drive, Anthem Blue Cross, Amgen and TeQava.

Saturday April 17, 2010 AVIVA FAMILY AND CHILDRENS SERVICES BEVERLY WILSHIRE FOUR SEASONS HOTEL, BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA Aviva Family and Children’s Services, a non-profit, non-sectarian, multi-service agency that provides care and treatment to abandoned, neglected, abused and at-risk youth in the greater Los Angeles community, hosted its 2010 “ The A Gala,” Saturday, April 17th at The Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, Beverly Hills. Honorees were recognized with Aviva Impact Awards include actress Teri Hatcher, philanthropists Kimberly and Richard Selby and Aviva board member Carol Stulberg. Chaired by Robin Broidy and Karen Pappas, the evening was reminiscent of an elegant supper club, complete with martini bars, fine wines and special aged Scotch tastings, coupled with a gourmet menu, dancing and surprise entertainment. The mission of Aviva Family and Children's Services, founded in Los Angeles in 1915 as Hamburger Home, is to provide professional help to emotionally distressed, abused and neglected adolescents, children at-risk, and their families to develop skills and strengths necessary to enhance their individual and family functioning. Saturday November 7, 2009 CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION GLOBE THEATER AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, LOS ANGELES, CA The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Los Angeles Chapter, hosted its inaugural “Alfred Hitchcock Legacy Tribute Gala,” honoring Dr. Elizabeth Daley, Dean, USC School of Cinematic Arts at the Globe Theater at Universal Studios, home for more than 40 years to the iconic filmmaker. The Hitchcock family, including daughter Pat and granddaughters Mary and Tere serve as Honorary Chairs and presented the award to Daley. Motion picture historian, critic and television personality Leonard Maltin emcees. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit donor-supported organization, is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.The Foundation is the leading organization in the United States devoted to cystic fibrosis. It funds and accredits more than 115 CF care centers, 95 adult care programs and 50 affiliate programs, and has 80 chapters and branch offices nationwide.The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the most efficient organizations of its kind. 8th Annual Operation Smile Gala
Friday October 2, 2009 OPERATION SMILE BEVERLY HILTON HOTEL, BEVERLY HILLS, CA Operation Smile, a worldwide children’s medical charity, honored Stephen Berman of JAKKS Pacific, the Honorable Richard J. Riordan, Roselyn Sanchez and Eric Winter at its 8th Annual Smile Gala, October 2, 2009, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. A special presentation was made in honor of the Simpson family, Jessica, Ashlee, Tina and Joe Simpson, for their support of Operation Smile. Access Hollywood host Billy Bush served as Master of Ceremonies.
