Get Him to the Greek Premiere

Tuesday May 25th 2010 UNIVERSAL PICTURES THE GREEK THEATRE, LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA Get Him to the Greek is a 2010 American comedy film written and directed by Nicholas Stoller and starring Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release June 4, 2010. Get Him to the Greek is a spin-off from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, reuniting director Stoller with stars Hill and Brand. Brand reprises his character Aldous Snow from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, while Hill plays an entirely new character. At one point, the film's title was changed to Get Me to the Gig and was then reverted to its original title. The film is rated R for strong sexual content and drug use throughout, and pervasive language.Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) releases a song about problems in Africa called "African Child". The song and music video are seen as horrible and called "the worst thing to happen to Africa since apartheid". The single ruins Snow's career, and as a result he starts drinking and doing drugs excessively. His girlfriend Jackie Q (Rose Byrne), with whom he had a son named Naples, also leaves him, taking custody of Naples. Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) is a driven, idealistic young college graduate who works as an intern at Capitol Records. He lives with his girlfriend, a doctor, but they do not get to see each other often due to their different sleep schedules. Capitol Records has lost a lot of money, so the executive of the branch Sergio (Sean Combs) asks for ideas. Green proposes to have Snow play at the Greek Theater for the tenth anniversary of a performance. Sergio is impressed with the idea and charges Aaron with getting Aldous Snow to the theatre. Hilarity ensues as idealistic Aaron takes drug-addicted Aldous from London to Los Angeles. Visit the official website here

Shrek Forever After Premiere

Sunday May 16, 2010 DREAMWORKS GIBSON AMPHITHEATRE, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws’ kingdom, what’s an ogre to do?  Well, if you’re Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man.  Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks.  What’s happened to this ogre’s roar?  Longing for the days when he felt like a “real ogre,” Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin.  Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met.  Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all he’s done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love. A Fine Romance

Saturday May 1, 2010 THE MOTION PICTURE AND TELEVISION FUND 20TH CENTURY FOX STUDIOS, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA Hugh Jackman hosted a star-studded evening celebrating the love affair between Broadway and Hollywood. Accompanied by a live orchestra under the baton of the Hollywood Bowl’s John Mauceri, a breathtaking array of singers from film and stage musicals performed the songs that have tied both coasts together for decades. This year's event brought the leaders of the entertainment community together in an intimate setting in Los Angeles for an evening of dining and entertainment to benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund. The Last Song Premiere
