Power 100: Women in Entertainment Breakfast

Tuesday December 7, 2010 THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL, BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA The Hollywood Reporter hosted its annual Power 100: Women in Entertainment Breakfast on Tuesday, December 7 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. This year, CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Katie Couric delivered the keynote remarks, and Academy Award®-winning actress Dame Helen Mirren received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award which is presented annually to a woman of unusual distinction and originality who has carved a unique career and at the same time contributed significantly to the social good. Academy Award® winner Halle Berry, who was the 2009 recipient, presented this year’s award to Mirren. The Women in Entertainment Breakfast is held annually in conjunction with the publication of The Hollywood Reporter’s “Power 100: Women in Entertainment” special issue, which highlights the top 100 women in the motion picture, television and related industries. Since its inception 18 years ago, the annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast has been - and this year is again - presented by Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network. In addition to Lifetime, this year’s breakfast is in association with L’Oréal Paris, The Gersh Agency, Iconix, Neilsen, Netflix, Spanx and WomenHeart.
