Born on This Day - July 11

Some of the people who are celebrating their birthday today include:
Lisa Rinna (1963): An American actress. She is best known for her roles as Billie Reed on Days of our Lives, Taylor McBride on Melrose Place, and most recently as the host of SoapNet's Soap Talk.Rinna married actor Harry Hamlin in 1997. They have two daughters, Delilah Belle (born 1998) and Amelia Gray (born 2001). They have performed together in a number of television and film productions, including portraying a married couple on the first season of the television series Veronica Mars. She has acknowledged having plastic surgery and using botox and juvederm; although she remains fond of botox, she has said that using juvederm was a mistake. Rinna, Hamlin, and their daughters recently met pop sensations the Jonas Brothers at a private concert at The Roxy and Miley Cyrus on the set of her show Hannah Montana.

Lil' Kim (1975): Rapper who had the highest ever debut for a female hip-hop artist in 1996. Kim began her career as a rapper in the early ‘90s when she joined the group Junior M.A.F.I.A. (Masters At Finding Intelligent Attitudes). After gaining acclaim for her part in the group, Kim decided to break out on her own. Her debut album "Hard Core" (1996), was produced by Sean Puffy Combs and featured the number one single "No Time." In June 2000, Kim released the album "Notorious K.I.M." as a tribute to the Notorious B.I.G., who helped her get her start in the music business. Her latest album, "La Bella Mafia," was released last year.

Richie Sambora (1960):

Guitarist/songwriter who is most famous for being a member of the band "Bon Jovi." Sambora joined Bon Jovi in 1983, and the group hit it big in 1986 with the release of "Slippery When Wet." The album spawned the number one singles "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin’ on a Prayer," and sold over 10 million copies. Bon Jovi became one of the world’s most popular rock bands, and the 1988 release of their album, "New Jersey," kept them riding high at the top of the charts. Soon after, the band decided to pursue solo projects, and Sambora went on to release "Stranger in this Town" in 1991, and "Undiscovered Soul" in 1998.

Sela Ward (1956):

Actress who received an Emmy Award for Best Actress in 1994, for her role as Teddy on the TV drama "Sisters" (1990-96). Ward first began starring on the small screen, playing Hillary Adams on the series "Emerald Point, N.A.S." (1983-84). While the show was short-lived, Ward’s career was just beginning, and she soon landed a part starring opposite Tom Hanks in the film Nothing in Common (1986). Ward continued to have a successful film career with credits including Hello again (1987), The Fugitive (1993), My Fellow Americans (1996), 54 (1998), Passion’s Way (1999) and the TV movies "Catch a Falling Star" (2000) and "The Badge" in 2002. She recently starred in the TV drama series "Once and Again" (1999-2002), and added to her blockbuster titles with the movie The Day After Tomorrow in 2004.
