Wednesday May 09, 2009 NOCHE DE NINOS BEVERLY HILTON HOTEL, BEVERLY HILLS CA Benefitting Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, Noche de Niños, the legacy of Dustin Meraz, a terminally-ill 11-year-old boy, who used the last weeks of his life to be a voice for critically ill children presented a multicultural celebration of the hospital’s heroes honored individuals who continue to make a difference in the lives of children every day. His memory lives on through this event and the funds raised provide care and support to pediatric patients and their families. Founded in 1901, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles has been treating the most seriously ill and injured children in Los Angeles for more than a century, and it is acknowledged throughout the United States and around the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. Childrens Hospital is one of America's premier teaching hospitals, affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932.
