Star Trek Premiere

April 30, 2009 PARAMOUNT PICTURES GRAUMANS CHINESE THEATRE, HOLLYOOD CA Paramount Pictures held the Los Angeles Premiere of STAR TREK today at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. This STAR TREK is a prequel and tells the incredible story of a young crew’s maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created - the U.S.S. Enterprise. The journey that these new recruits take is filled with action, comedy and cosmic peril. They must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind. And boldly go where no one has gone before. This premiere has to be one of the biggest premieres so far for 2009 and one of the most anticipated. Fans of STAR TREK lined Hollywood Boulevard, which was closed from Orange to Highland, and the fans that were lucky got to sit in bleachers behind the photographers. William S. Paley Television Festival - Wallander

April 29, 2009 WILLIAM S PAYLEY FOUNDATION ARCLIGHT CINERAMA DOME, HOLLYWOOD, CA Kenneth Branagh is Kurt Wallander, Masterpiece mystery's newest detective. X-Men Wolverine Premiere

April 28, 2009 20TH CENTURY FOX GRAUMANS CHINESE THEATRE, HOLLYWOOD, CA. X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, the first chapter in the X-Men saga, unites Wolverine with several other legends of the X-Men universe, in an epic revolution that pits the mutants against powerful forces determined to eliminate them. Fans lined Hollywood Boulevard four rows deep and before Hugh Jackman walked the red carpet he went over and greeted all the fans that went half way down the block.

The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past Premiere

April 27, 2009 NEW LINE CINEMA GRAUMANS CHINESE THEATRE, HOLLYWOOD, CA. The GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST is a different spin of Dickens classic CHRISTMAS CAROL. Whereas Ebeneezer Scrooge is visited by three ghosts. In GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST celebrity photographer Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughey) loves freedom, fun and women…in that order. He is a committed bachelor, but on the eve of his brothers Paul’s wedding Connor’s mockery of romance proves a real buzz-kill for Paul, the wedding party and a houseful of well wishers, which include Connor’s childhood friend Jenny (Jennifer Garner). Jenny is the one woman in his life who has always seemed immune to his considerable charm. Things are not looking good as Connor may just single-handedly ruin the wedding, but that changes when he gets a wake-up call from the ghost of his late Uncle Wayne (Michael Douglas), who was a legendary ladies man and whose exploits Connor has modeled his lifestyle after. Uncle Wayne has an urgent message for his protégé, which he delivers through the ghosts of Connor’s jilted girlfriends - past, present and future. The sidewalk across the street from the theater was lined with screaming fans as the stars arrived.
