Canadian bass master EXCISION returns fully loaded with the launch of the massive “Execution Tour.” Set to kick off January 25, the North American trek includes over 50 confirmed dates that introduce a new submersion into bass music and an intense audiovisual experience that will take live electronic music performance to a new level.

The “Execution Tour” will feature EXCISION’s new stage “The Executioner,” a behemoth production setup and a true technological breakthrough. “The Executioner” is a video-mapping masterwork that displays an impressive 420 square feet of world-class, true-3D, video-mapped animations guaranteed to daze and amaze fans. “The Executioner” will include the greatest projector available in the world and cast some of the most intricate and amazing animations available today onto a mechanical bunker in which EXCISION will perform a live set that will simultaneously sync audio with video using groundbreaking technology.

EXCISION is revving up the audio experience and inviting back Canada’s PK Sound—which worked with him on the sold-out 2012 X Tour—as the official audio provider for the “Execution Tour,” packing more than 100,000 watts of full-on bone-crushing sound. Los Angeles’ CLUB NOKIA has announced a Saturday, November 17 performance by blues icons the ROBERT CRAY BAND and KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD.  Tickets go on sale this Saturday, October 13 at 10am.

As a five-time Grammy award winning, singer/songwriting guitar legend, it would be hard to overstate Robert Cray's impact on rock, rhythm & blues. He is considered "one of the greatest guitarists of his generation" (Music Critic, Steve Matteo) and since his 1980 album debut Who's Been Talkin, Cray has been inviting audiences along on his epic musical journey--breaking through the pop ceiling with his gate crashing/blues-edged trademark sound, distinct playing style and daring innovations.  He has performed alongside blues titans Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton and B.B. King- touring extensively with both Collins and Clapton and has his own line of Fender Signature Guitars. Cray has also worked with legends Tina Turner, Keith Richards, Chuck Berry, Bonnie Raitt, friend and fellow guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughn and Willie Dixon, to name a few and his songs have been covered by many including, BB King, Clapton, and Tony Bennett. Featured in Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues series, Cray has also appeared in Tina Turner's TV special “Break Every Rule,” the Chuck Berry tribute “Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll,” and the Rolling Stones' pay-per-view video “Voodoo Lounge.” Along with his Grammy wins, Robert Cray has released 20 award-winning multi-platinum albums, received 15 Grammy nominations, and with the Robert Cray Band, has performed thousands of sold-out shows worldwide.

Utter the phrase "young blues guitarist" within earshot of anyone with even a cursory knowledge of the modern musical vanguard and the first name they are most likely to respond with will be Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Still barely in his 30s, the Louisiana-born axeman and songsmith has been selling millions of albums, throwing singles into the Top 10, shining a light on the rich blues of the past and forging ahead with his own modern twist on a classic sound he has embodied since his teens. He met Stevie Ray Vaughan at 7, shared the stage with New Orleans legend Bryan Lee at13. As an adult, he continues to create genre-defining blues-infused rock n' roll.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd's 2011 release How I Go not only serves as a strong reminder of the chops that caused Guitar World to place him right behind B.B. King and Eric Clapton on their list of blues guitarists, but it's the strongest indication yet of his gifted songwriting talent. The album pairs Kenny's deeply soulful and impassioned takes on classic material like Bessie Smith's "Backwater Blues," Albert King's "Oh, Pretty Woman" and The Beatles "Yer Blues" alongside the strongest writing and co-writing of his career thus far. Let's not forget that Kenny co-wrote "Blue on Black" very early on. The song was #1 on the Rock Charts for 17 consecutive weeks. All of the accolades heaped upon his playing are well deserved and well earned. But there is so much more to offer.

Los Angeles native Dom Kennedy is set to perform Friday, November 23 at Los Angeles’ CLUB NOKIA.  Tickets for this show are currently on sale.

Who would have thought an ordinary kid from Leimert Park could capture the ears and collective attention of people all over the globe? Not many. But it’s happening right now. Some say Dom Kennedy is a product of his environment. Though partly true, it’d be more accurate to credit Dom’s success to a relentless work ethic and a coolest-guy-in-the-room demeanor. He was born to be a leader. And lead he does. Where others go left, he steers right. Peers seek record deals in a cramped industry while he grinds independently. He thinks different. He acts different. He sounds different. With the streets and labels buzzing over his latest project The Yellow Album, Dom is exactly where he wants to be--for now.

He didn’t get to where he is overnight though it took just one release, The 25th Hour, for people to pick up on Dom’s signature casual-California flow. Soon after--with the releases of FutureStreet/DrugSounds and Best After Bobby in 2009--he found himself at the forefront of what’s become known as the New West. But it wasn’t until Dom released his critically acclaimed--and fan adored--From The Westside, With Love project that the national independent media changed their scope of focus westward. No longer was the region forced to cling onto memories of past rap greats or cheesy dance crazes. This was something new to vibe along with. Something fresh. Something cool. By launching a full nationwide tour and prepping his soon to be released project The Yellow Album; a project that will certainly dominate Summer discussions and year-end lists.  “Working on The Yellow Album--it felt like it was my first album,” Dom carefully articulates. It’s been a long time coming despite working day and night while on tour to ensure it’s his best project to date.
