Bates Motel is a new drama series from A and E.  It is a prequel of the Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho. It appears that it will show us how Norman Bates developed during his teenage years and what led him to become a deeply disturbed adult through his relationship with his mother.

A party was held to celebrate the premiere episode at SoHo House West Hollywood, a club run by ageists who charge double the price to new members who are over the age of 27 than those who are under 27 pay.
