John Tesh (1952): | Composer who is most recognized as being Mary Hart’s co-host on the nightly news program "Entertainment Tonight" (1986-96). Tesh was classically trained on both the piano and trumpet as a child, and began composing music professionally while working as a CBS Sports Commentator in 1981. Tesh wrote music to accompany his coverage of the Tour de France, and in 1983, won an Emmy for Best Musical Composition for his theme to the Pan-American Games. Still, Tesh’s New Age sound was not widely known to the public until 1995, when he recorded his concert "Live at Red Rocks." Since then, Tesh has been a staple on the New Age music charts. He recently released "Classical Music for Babies (And Their Moms)." |

Tom Hanks (1956): | Actor who can transition from comedic to dramatic roles with ease, while excelling at each of them as a performer. After starring on the series "Bosom Buddies," Hanks made guest appearances on many sitcoms, most notably "Taxi" and "Happy Days." Ron Howard remembered Hanks from his "Happy Days" episode, and in turn cast him in his first feature film, Splash (1984). From there, Hanks went on to star in a steady stream of blockbuster hits including Big (1988), A League of Their Own (1992) and Sleepless in Seattle (1993). Hanks won back-to-back Best Actor Oscars in 1993 and 1994 for his work in Philadelphia and Forrest Gump. Hanks later appeared in Saving Private Ryan (1998) and The Green Mile (1999), and his success has continued with his performances in Cast Away (2000), Road to Perdition (2002) and Catch Me If You Can (2002). |

Jimmy Smits (1955): | Actor who got his start in show business playing Don Johnson’s partner on the two-hour pilot for "Miami Vice" (1984). Although his character was killed off in the first 20 minutes of the show, Smits soon won the role of Victor Sifuentes on "L.A. Law," and became a star. Smits stayed with "L.A. Law" for five season (1986-1990), and even took home an Emmy Award for his performance. Smits went from one successful series to the next, when he joined the cast of "NYPD Blue." In addition to his television career, Smits has starred in films including The Believers (1987), Old Gringo (1989), Fires Within (1991), The Switch (1993) and My Family/Mi Familia in 1995. Smits also appeared in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones in 2002. |

Courtney Love (1964): | Musician and actress who came into the spotlight as the eccentric lead singer of the group, Hole. While Love’s name will forever be synonymous with her grunge-rock husband, Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide; there is no doubt that she has become an accomplished musician in her own right. Love formed Hole with fellow band member, Eric Erlandson, in 1990 and they went on to release the hit recordings "Pretty on the Inside" (1991), "Live Through This" (1994) and "Celebrity Skin" in 1998. Love and Erlandson recently announced the breakup of Hole. In addition to her captivating stage presence, Love has also delivered critically acclaimed performances on the silver screen in The People vs. Larry Flint (1997) and Man on the Moon in 1999.
