The GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST is a different spin of Dickens classic CHRISTMAS CAROL. Whereas Ebeneezer Scrooge is visited by three ghosts. In GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PAST celebrity photographer Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughey) loves freedom, fun and women…in that order. He is a committed bachelor, but on the eve of his brothers Paul’s wedding Connor’s mockery of romance proves a real buzz-kill for Paul, the wedding party and a houseful of well wishers, which include Connor’s childhood friend Jenny (Jennifer Garner). Jenny is the one woman in his life who has always seemed immune to his considerable charm. Things are not looking good as Connor may just single-handedly ruin the wedding, but that changes when he gets a wake-up call from the ghost of his late Uncle Wayne (Michael Douglas), who was a legendary ladies man and whose exploits Connor has modeled his lifestyle after. Uncle Wayne has an urgent message for his protégé, which he delivers through the ghosts of Connor’s jilted girlfriends - past, present and future. The sidewalk across the street from the theater was lined with screaming fans as the stars arrived.
